Who?
Lilian
Where?
Berlin, Germany
What?
"I have been noticing for hours now: You are so beautiful!"
How did she react?
"Oooh, thank you!"
How did I feel?
I met Lilian at a New Years Party. We had dinner, we danced, watched the fireworks from a Berlin rooftop- she struck my eyes at all times. This lady was the combination of pretty and beautiful. Wearing cool earrings, a sweet dress and kick ass leggings she proved her good taste. And yeah, she was attractive, too. But there was more. When complimenting her I chose the word beautiful because that is what she was to me. Her smile came from inside, her eyes looked at me softly, her movements were clear yet gentle. In short: Her inside lightened up her outside. Lilian glowed. No jet of flame, no forest fire, she was a candle. Subtly lighting the room, a unique flame, ever changing, dancing in the air. And the plain, still wax body in a light color. A candle can set the house on fire which I am sure Lilian is capable of doing, too. She told me about a "rage workshop" friends of hers are offering in Berlin and that she is a social pedagogue who works with families in conflict. This was after I complimented her. We had a little chat which was a beautiful encounter. Her smile felt like a caressing and I left the party uplifted and full of warmth for 2015.
Thanks, Lilian!
